	Hollywood Walk of Fame (323) 469-8311 A tribute to over 2000 artists who have made significant contributions to film, radio, television, theatre and the recording industries.  The first star placed on February 9 1960, was for Joanne Woodward.  One of Hollywood's most popular tourist attractions, the Walk of Fame lies on both sides of Hollywood Blvd. from Gower to La Brea and both sides of Vine Street, from Yucca to Sunset. The Silver Four Ladies of Hollywood Gazebo, at Lea Brea, should not be missed.
	Universal Studios and Universal City Walk (800) UNIVERSAL This awe-inspiring facility offers a variety of attractions, entertainment, and rides all centered around motion pictures and television programs.
	Whiskey A GO-GO 8901 Sunset Boulevard (310) 652-4202 ext15 As long as there has been a Los Angeles rock scene, there has been the Whiskey A GO-GO. An anchor on the Sunset Strip since its opening in 1964, the Whiskey has played host to rock 'n' roll's most important bands, from The Doors, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin to today's up and coming new artists.
	The Troubador 9081 Santa Monica Blvd (310) 276-6168 Since opening in 1957, the legendary Troubadour club in West Hollywood has helped launch some of contemporary music's most talented performers. Greats such as Elton John, James Taylor and Tom Waits performed there early in their careers, and it continues to be a destination for cutting-edge acts from around the world.
	The Magic Castle 7001 Franklin Avenue (323) 851-3313 This Victorian mansion built in 1908 in the Hollywood Hills is home to the Academy of Magical Arts, an organization dedicated to the advancement of the art of magic. It's an interesting house to pass by on your walk or drive through Hollywood.
	Yamashiro Sky Room 1999 N. Sycamore Ave.  (323) 466-5125. Can be seen from in front of the Hotel Roosevelt high up on the hill behind Mann's Chinese. This Japanese restaurant is a replica of an Oriental Palace containing some 12 acres of landscaped gardens, waterfalls and pagoda's. Has spectacular views of the city below and was used for the premiere party of "Lethal Weapon 4."
